Kimberly Danielle shares over 17 years of experience with a specialization in trauma informed and healing centered social justice. She is a two-time TEDx speaker who also serves as CEO / Founder of KiMISTRY and the nonprofit, My Cousin’s House. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Leadership. Kimberly is a trained facilitator in the Art of Hosting through ALIA and has received training on the Courageous Conversations About Race protocol via Pacific Educational Group. Additionally, she is a current student in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through Sounds True under the tutelage of Dr. Jack Kornfield and Dr. Tara Brach.
Kimberly is the author of Browning Pleasantville, was a contributing author of Implicit Bias in Schools with a chapter entitled, “Practical Application of Implicit Racial Debiasing”. In 2023, Kim created the journal workbook series Jotnal Books, featuring the Phoenix Edition, the Supernatural (Teen) Edition and is now completing the Manifest (masculine) Edition as well as a manuscript on creating safer spaces entitled The Nine Asks which is set to be released in Spring 2025.
Lindell Canty, Jr., Washington, DC native, attended St. Paul College, an HBCU in Lawrenceville, VA which sadly closed its doors in 2013. There, he was a scholar athlete and excelled as a starting guard for the basketball team. He graduated in 1995 with his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Computer Science. Following college, Lindell traveled overseas to play basketball professionally in Turkey and Italy. In 1997, he returned to the states and began work in information technology which has now spanned a consulting career over 25 years. In 2022, Canty added Cyber Security certification to his credentials.
In addition to Eden Grooming Order, Canty serves the U.S. Courts as a Network Engineer. He launched his firm, Canty Technology Consulting, in 2023 which supports information, technology and security needs of start-ups and small businesses. As a lifetime athlete who was blessed to play on a professional level, Canty credits coaches and mentors who invested in him as his protectors and teachers. Outside of technology and sports, Canty is a proud father of three successful adult children, two of whom are also HBCU graduates.
