 The Nine Asks® is a KiMISTRY tool which, when practiced earnestly, serves as a way for individuals to participate in the creation and sustaining of safer, braver and more courageous spaces. Safer spaces support efforts to be healthy, healed and whole. 

This 9-week course walks participants through each of the Nine Asks plus application of the framework in various human engagement settings including working, learning, faith-based, home and internal spaces.

 Journaling is a reflection course that aids its owner through processing emotions while passively coaching participants on how to journal via writing prompts, questionnaires, wellness information, activities and exercises to inspire participants to think, feel and grow.  

This 7-week course is especially designed to reflect on challenges experienced by melanated people such as value and worth, cultural code switching, exhaustive caregiving and self-advocacy.

Identity in Community explores cultural humility, trauma-informed resilience practices and the examination of our stories and holistic wellness needs individually and collectively, especially as melanated folks. Participants will be assigned reflection homework to better understand their stories more meaningfully.

This 8-week course will apply personal narrative, practical application, facilitated group dialogue, interactive exposure and mindfulness practices to strengthen relationships for self and others.

  There is a Zimbabwean Proverb that states, “Until the lion tells his side of the story, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.”  What story is being told about you – and is it time to Recreate Your Narrative?  As we change, transition, and evolve, so does our story. 

This 7-week course will aid participants in reflecting on narratives as powerful tools to understand where we’ve been, where we are now and where we’re going. Dialogue and narration facilitation will support the mindful and meaningful (re)writing and (re)telling of participant stories.
